Sweet Riley.

Riley is pure joy wrapped in a tiny three year old body. While Lauren was in town, she asked me to take Riley's pictures. This made me very happy because I miss seeing them very much and I especially miss taking Riley's pictures. I'm pretty sure Lauren and I were on the verge of peeing our pants multiple times throughout this whole excursion. We had such a fun time. Here's a peak into our day.

The out takes:

Me: Riley give me a pretty smile.
This was her reply:

She is just so cute.

A Is For Adorable.

I had the privilege to take these pictures for Amanda and Michael. They are a very sweet family and their little Caroline is such a happy baby. They really made the job fun. Enjoy a peak from our morning together.

Another Year Later

This is my third year photographing this family. My first time since they've been a family of four. It's always fun chasing Charlie around. Now I can't even keep up with him! The kid is constantly moving! He talks non stop. He moves a mile a minute! Although he's full of energy, he is still the sweet boy I've always known him to be. Anne has done a wonderful job with him. We were very fortunate to get one picture with all of them looking at the camera, with the help of that Star Wars card you see. Charlie was not about to let that card get out of his sight.

Michael is the complete opposite of Charlie. He just sat back, relaxed, and hung out the whole session. He'd look at the camera, he's smile when I would tickle him. He was a total ham.

And for this one I worked so hard to get Charlie to look....and what does his father do? Did someone say squirrel? Yeah. I love the death grip he has on Charlie though. Makes me laugh.

Thanks for the fun afternoon Barnard family!

Becka and Gary

I had the pleasure of photographing this incredibly fun couple this Saturday. The are so easy going and funny which makes capturing their happiness a piece of cake. I had so much fun with these two and I wish them God's richest blessings as they venture into married life.

Meet my fourth grade teacher. Miss Hunter.

Now, meet her family. You're going to have to endure a whole lot of pictures because I couldn't pick favorites.

Andrew is their youngest. He reminds me a lot of my brother.... You try and get a good family picture and this is what happens. I laughed so hard when I got home and saw this.

It's a good thing I'm a fast clicker so I could get another one.

I think I was pushing it a little too far trying to get these three to sit still for a few too many seconds....

Because this shows how they really felt...

Andrew, Julia, and Thomas are three amazing kids. Thomas even washes dishes and empties the dishwasher without even having to be asked. He just does it. Who does that? Julia wrote me an adorable love note before she left. It's now found a place on my fridge....forever. And Andrew, well, he just melts your heart every time he smiles into your eyes.

I had a great time with this fam. I miss them terribly. Stella however has quite a different opinion about the matter.

I love you Miss Hunter. Thank you for being a constant in my life and a huge part of my faith journey. You're an amazing wife, mother and friend.

Now will you forgive me for the first picture?
