My brother-in-law's and sister-in-law's neighbors have beautiful flowers in their backyard. My macro lens was in its glory. So was I. They also seemed to attract quite a few characters.

On my run today I spotted this patch of mushrooms that seemed to have just sprouted up over night. I didn't see them two days ago, so these suckers really did just bust a move! They're so weird looking and to be honest, mushrooms have always freaked me out. They're just so strange I wouldn't even want to touch them, besides I can never tell if they're poisonous or not. They do have some what of a cute shape to them. I just can't help but think of druggies and the Smurfs every time I spot one.
